Bulgarian Stock Exchange announced the winners of the sixth competition for CFA scholarships. Ivelina Mihaleva, MSc in a joint program of the University of National and World Economy and Nottingham Trent University is the first lady winner in the history of the BSE scholarship program. The other winner is Vladimir Georgiev, who works in the finance department of a technology company.
BSE will support them by covering the registration fee for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level I exam.
The competition held for the sixth consecutive year was conducted in two stages, pre-selection based on documents and a mock examination.
In the competition took part young professionals already working in the financial, insurance and technology sectors.
The mock was carried out in cooperation with Kaplan Schweser financial exams training company. The selected winners achieved the highest score at the mock.
To join all its scholarship holders and trainees in one expert community of young and talented Bulgarian specialists as well as to consolidate its contribution to improving the financial education in Bulgaria, BSE has created its own Alumni Club. The Alumni Club is unique as part of a European stock exchange environment and will rely on its members to enrich BSE's educational and career initiatives with their experience and knowledge.
